SG: so just tell the audience why you picked the song
BTCD:it started out as a new song that i liked hearing but then it turned into a way to offer some happiness and provide a way to cheer people up. it’s a mix of entertainment and comfort.
SG: do you think that owl city was named after an actual owl city or an obsession with owls?
BTCD: i don’t believe Adam Young decided to be known as owl city due to an actual owl city or obsession with owls though it is possible it was a nickname or it involved something which inspired him and involved owls maybe
SG: do you think he likes wearing owl print shirts?
BTCD:i don’t think he would be opposed to it. he may even find it a bit funny or ironic if he decided to do so
SG: have you ever gone to a concert of his? if so, describe the experience
BTCD:i wish i could say i have =’[ he is definately on my list of artists i would love to see perform live one day =]
SG: what else should our lovely audience know?
BTCD:they should go check out the “Shooting Star EP” because not only does it have this song but 3 other pretty awesome ones too from Owl City (personally i like the collab he did with Mark Hoppus too). Admittedly it does seem to be a bit different then some of his older work but it is still enjoyable to listen and dance around to.
SG:so you’d say he’s matured musically?
BTCD:he’s branched out and not been afraid to try something new musically. It’s not so far out that you won’t recognize it as being owl city style but it’s just shifted or changed a little

Fashion is not always wearing name brand clothing, fashion is more about buying what you like in order to express yourself. In my opinion, its way better when you wear something for $10 and pull it off and look good than to wear a $30-$40 piece of clothing just to fit in with a group of people….
i respect you for saying that. I do believe that fashion is HOW you wear clothing, not what BRAND you wear. For years i was one of those girls, that had to have the latest brands or i’d “die.” i even remember being 14 years old and begging my mom for a pair of Addidas all stars. I remember sobbing until she got me a pair. It not something i’m proud of now.

i quite literally ripped up the t-shirt posted today. I felt that it was too pink and too girly for me, so it needed to have a bit of an edge to it. Probably doesn’t help that i had “Anarchy in the U.K.” by the Sex Pistols on in the background. I went to town on that t-shirt and i feel like it’s amazing now! BTW, you should listen to that song, it’s pretty good. Gets me wanting to tear things up (which in this case, works).
